This was just a bit of an experiment. I’ll make no secret of the fact that I don’t like speech bubbles as they are traditionally applied, that is to say that they have a negative effect on the image, cluttering it up. The trouble with this footnote styled text seen here is the disassociation that it causes between the text and the people who are saying the dialogue. I think that with more time It’s something that’s workable and could be another way of doing things in that regard but I don’t think that as It’s implemented here it’s a good choice. I do like the name introductions, I should have used it in the modern comic, but there weren’t any good places to put in that text in the comic. I like it. The colors are almost exactly as they are today with regard to ash and cam, but the transparencies are a bit different.
